Lady Antebellum lead singer Hillary Scott, who gave us the moving anthem, “Thy Will” is celebrating the birth of twins! Born very early on January 29th, the 31-year-old singer welcomed twin daughters — her second and third children with husband Chris Tyrrell.
The announcement was broadcast on Hillary’s social media.
“Our family is thankful and proud to announce the arrival of our precious baby girls. They were born in the early hours of January 29th, 2018 and we can’t wait to share more about them in the days to come,” Scott remarked on her Instagram while showing us the photo of two hospital beanies marked “A” and “B.”
“Thank you to everyone who prayed and prayed for these little ladies, and thank you Lord for healthy babies,” the singer added.
“Thy Will” was written during a season in Hillary’s life where she had to surrender control of some personal tragedies over to God. The death of a grandparent, together with a miscarriage, created the understandable emotional inspiration for such a powerful song as “Thy Will”. In what could be argued as God’s ultimate blessing, the couple now celebrates the new life of two baby daughters.
The twins become the sisters of the couple’s daughter Eisele Kaye, who is 4½.
Our biggest and best blessings upon Hillary and Chris as they enjoy the expansion of their family.
